Graphite is a black-gray powder that’s soft and granular. The powder can cause a greasy residue on the paper. With increasing levels of impurities, the hardness increases vertically to 1 2. The hardness can go up to 3 5. The specific gravity of the mineral is 1.92.3. The melting point of this mineral is over 3000 under oxygen isolation. It is therefore one of the most resistant to high temperature.

High Purity Powder Graphite
You can use graphite powder as a refractory material, conductive material, casting, mold, or high-temperature metallic materials. It is also possible to be used for polishing, pigment and boiler scaling.
1) As refractory substances: graphite or its products with hightemperature resistance, high strengths properties are used mainly in the metallurgical industries to produce graphitecrucible. In steelmaking graphite can also be used as an ingot protective agent and metallurgy lining.

Graphite also works well as a lubricant when processing metals (wire drawing and tube drawing).
