SE Sucrose ester; Sucrose fatty acid ester

This is a nonionic surfactant that is composed of simple substances or mixtures of sucrose and fatty acid formed through esterification. Because sucrose has 8 –OH groups, esterification allows for the formation of all sorts of products, including single and octyl esters. The product can be divided into mono-fatty Acid Ester or fatty Acid Ester. For the hydrophilic groups, sucrose is OH, and fatty acid carbon chains part are for the hydrophilic groups. It’s commonly used with stearic acids, oleic acids, palmitic acids, and high-fatty acids (powder product), as well acetic acids, isobutyric acids, and low fatty oils (products of viscous resin). Because it’s non-toxic, biodegradable, and has good surface properties, it’s widely used in food and medicine as well as daily chemical and biological engineering enzyme preparation.
